Voronezh organization of disabled people with cerebral paralysis “Hope”, which has recently celebrated its 25th anniversary and celebrated housewarming, finally received furniture which was delivered by the representatives of the charity fund «Kindness».
–We’ve known “Kindness” for many years. Alexander Zhukov always helps us with the preparation of gifts for the holidays, – says Olga Lukyanova, a chairman of the organization of Kominternovskiy region. – And now we’ve purchased furniture.

When everything was ready, classes immediately began. In “Hope” children spend time visiting sewing workshops and IT-classes, children are taught to bead, embroider with ribbons, carve, wood-painting.
– Come on in, – invites Olga Egorovna representatives of the charity fund to the room. A huge table cluttered with Handicrafts made of clay. – We have recently begun pottery, so there is a whole exhibition.
There are several dozens of works: clay pots and vases, birds, fish, planes and signs with different drawings and wishes.
In “Hope”, teachers develop creative abilities, talk about actual professions which will allow becoming financially independent. Young people from 15 and till 40 come here.
– The girls from the sewing workshop have already been asked to make nightgowns and aprons.

– Now everyone prefers going to pottery club. It is extremely interesting. They are eager to create something with their hands. So that it could be shown to someone, taken home, put in a room, for example, a vase made by you.
Cerebral paralysis is a disease that significantly affects the quality of life, but initially does not deprive a person to live to the fullest. We often prefer to ignore problems, thus it makes difficult for such people to break their limits. Organizations like “Hope” try to do the best, so their work is incredibly important. Specialists who work with special children say that in order to achieve progress, there should be more centers like this one.
–We have been supporting “Hope” for many years– said the Deputy of the Voronezh City Duma, the founder of the charitable fund “Kindness” Alexander Zhukov. – This disease is not a death sentence! Children can, and they have to develop, communicate, and live to the fullest. Therefore, we have been working together for so many years.
Official opening is going to be in September, when everything will be finished.
