They were awarded by the Deputy of the City Duma.
The students of psycoeducational, medical and social assistance center became prizewinners of the prestigious All – Russian Olympiad «SAPIENTI SAT». Some of them came to good. The Deputy of the City Duma and the founder of the fund Dobrota visited them in order to congratulate and award children.
The ceremony was held in the Hall of the Library, where there were guests, teachers and prizewinners. The Olympiad «SAPIENTI SAT» is the second competition which students have take part in. The pupils have participated in different sections such as Russian and Literature. No one made allowance, the children of the center took part as if they were ordinary pupils.
A. Zhukov awarded pupils with diplomas of Voronezh City Duma and wished to be Champions all their lives:
– It is great to reach goals, isn’t it? I want everybody to set goals and hit marks because life is very changable, it is difficult to make desicions. I am sure that all your teachers do their best to help you become desent citizens of the world. My congratulations!, – said A. Zhukov.
There are 105 children in this center. Their lives are tough. Their families are disadvantaged, but this doesn’t make any sense towards their studying and the desire to become outstanding people. As an example, there is a boy Sasha Kozlov, who scored 100 points! He says that his future plans are not directly connected with Russian, but it is important to learn the native language:
– That is awesome to be the first, I am very proud of it, and I want to thank my teachers because they gave me the chance to participate in the Olympiad and prepared well for it.
There is one more talanted pupil, 14 years old Kristina Kozhanovskaya, who scored 85 points. Everobody is proud of her, they say she is not only an excellent pupil, but also a great painter. She hasn’t decided yet what she wants to be in the future, but when she was little, she wanted to be a teacher.
The fund Dobrota with the closest cooperation with the center tries to support these talanted children. The fund regulary visits the pupils and brings them gifts. The teachers of the center have also been awarded with diplomas:
– It is difficult to underestimate all the work teachers do every day. They could believe in these kids and find the hidden talents. , – said А. Zhukov.
After the ceremony, there was a tea party with sweets and cakes, which was organized by the fund Dobrota.
