The social adaptation project for single mothers, who are left without support and shelter, has started in Voronezh. The unique program is held due to the presidential grant, which was awarded with the help of the fund “Dobrota”.
It is worth mentioning that the realization of the project was started in 2017. It is designed for a year in order to render psychological assistance to women and to teach them sewing technique as well.
The sum of grant given to the Foundation “Dobrota”, was 1 044 466 rubles. The charitable organization started investing money in January. The main stream of the program is physiological assistance:
– They will believe in their abilities, won’t fell lonely, as there are people who are there for them. The presidential grant is aimed at social support of people who need such an assistance, – said the founder of fund “Dobrota” Alexander Zhukov.
Women can share their problems with qualified and experienced phycologist V. Podbolotova.
She does strongly support the idea of the project as she is not only an expert, but also a mother. The whole year is devoted to assistance and problem solving:
– My duty is to help them with social adaptation and to motivate to live to the fullest. We will also be working on development of such traits as confidence, compliance with the pressures, self-appraisal and emotional stability, – said the phycologist.
The consultation will be held twice a week. Moreover, there will be a possibility to hold online consultations. At the same time, the sewing classes will be held. All necessary equipment and fabric were purchased.
There are more than 10 single mothers are attending classes now.
– There is going to be the first exhibition of their handmade work. They are bed sheets, kids’ clothes and pencil-skirts. It is a great opportunity to be encouraged.
The single mothers are happy to take part in this very project because they are sure it will give them a chance to change their lives for the better.
– This is my second class. I am really interested in it and these sewing skills will come in handy. More than that, I have had consultations with the phycologist, which are very helpful for both classes and work.
