"DOBROTA" FUND

OUR PROGRAMS

The Fund “Kindness” has been existing for 20 years. The main activity stream of the Charitable Foundation “Kindness” is to support the most disadvantaged social groups of Voronezh and its regions. The Fund has already helped many people and is trying to help those who are in need. The activity of the Fund has several streams.

The first stream:

Charitable activity.

It is worth mentioning the yearly held “Marathon of Kindness” which is arranged in order to help pupils and children of needy families. Clothes and shoes are delivered to city schools to those who need them. The similar support is given to the orphanages, children’s homes and nursing homes of the city and its regions. Clothes, shoes, medical supplies, food, abstergents are delivered there.

The second stream:

Cultural Engagement of School Learners.

Pupils take part in different competitions arranged by the fund. They are mathematical and Russian language competitions, creativity competitions “Joust and “Spring Queen”, the Teacher’s Day, New Year’s parties, the Knowledge day. Proms and etc.

The third stream:

Military-Patriotic Education of Young People.

In the very beginning of the Foundation’s activity, when the work with schools in this direction has just began, it was decided that any tournament, any competition should have a Patriotic background. That’s why each February, the Foundation “Kindness” holds not just competitions for young chess players, but the tournament devoted to the memory of Andrew Chunosov, who was killed in Afghanistan. The same applies to the futsal competition, which is called after Sergey Anikin, and all-around competition in honor of militia captain Viktor Budantsev.

The fourth stream:

Organization of Public Services and Social Amenities for Voronezh.

With the participation of the Dobrota Foundation, benches, tables, swings, children’s slides and sandboxes are installed in the yards of Kominternovsky and Sovetsky districts, which are filled with sand as necessary. Every autumn the Foundation takes part in planting trees and shrubs on the streets of the city.
