This is how the traditional charity trip to Bobrov was held.
Alexander Zhukov, the founder of the Charity Foundation “Dobrota” adheres to the principle “regularity is the most important thing in charity”, so the trip to the Bobrov boarding school has already become a tradition for him and his staff.
In addition to holidays, Alexander Zhukov visits pupils of the orphanage for no particular reason: he comes with gifts and necessary household items. The latest was on the 21st of September. On that fine Friday day, the team of “Dobrota” brought several hundred delicious berry cakes, bedside rugs, seasonal clothes and shoes to Bobrov. They were just in time for lunch.
– We will come again to the Teachers’ Day: we will bring new lamps. We always try to find out from the school administration what is necessary. One day they called :” The washing powder is over,” we immediately bought it and drove it off. Sweets are our long tradition. We bring the freshest and tasty ones not only for holidays, but for no special reason. I remember when I was a kid : there was nothing better than sweets. – Alexander Zhukov believes.
After tea time, the pupils shared their school achievements, showed a new conference room, where meetings and seminars would be held. In addition, the boarding school has a library for the development of motor skills and two sensory rooms for relaxation.
– We have had a long friendship for over 20 years with the Charity Foundation “Dobrota”. We often have so,e meetings! Alexander Zhukov immediately goes to the “crowd”: students love him very much, they can talk to him for hours. He does not refuse to help: Andrei Gneushev, one of our former students, considers him a father. Alexander Zhukov has given him everything Andrei needed for the prom ceremony. Now Andrey is studying at a pedagogical technical school in Voronezh. Alexander Zhukov and Andrei are still in touch. Moreover , the charity foundation provides targeted assistance. For example, last year, each child chose and ordered a jacket he or she would like to have. And Alexander Zhukov made their dreams come true – says Lyubov Chelnokova, a deputy director for educational work of the Bobrov boarding school.
Alexander Zhukov and the teachers have discussed some issues for their future interaction. Alexander Zhukov gave a hint that the charity foundation “Dobrota” is already preparing some New Year’s gifts for pupils.
